Today has been a fun day in Sweden.

Yesterday was quite a trip. The flight was extremely long, and we had to run through the Chicago airport to make it to our flight!! The airport is huge, by the way, and we had to literally go from one end to the other, in a completely different building. We had to take a train to the International building! We were all sweating quite perfusely by the time we got on the plane!

The plane was pretty good. They had great food, we had both dinner & breakfast! Sleeping was not comfortable, though! They lost Valerie's suitcase. She just got it today, and it's 7:30pm. It's a good thing she had a change of clothes in her carry on! We took a bus from Stockholm to Vasteras, which was about an hour and a half long. We were dropped off at the Central Station. That was quite interesting...we had no idea who we were looking for or where we were supposed to go. We were all a little worried...we waited for about 20 minutes for Ing-Marie (our host), but it seemed like an eternity. They picked us up, looked at us like we were crazy when they saw all of our bags, and brought us to our flat. We're on the first floor & have 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a huge closet by the doorway that is bigger than one of the bedrooms! No tv, though.

The shower is hilarious! It's a tub not attached to anything, and the shower curtain covers maybe half of the tub (the back half to make it even worse!). Water goes everywhere when we shower! Ing-Marie even pointed out that there was one because she knew that we all take showers in the USA. They take baths over here!

We slept for about 15 hours last night. They don't have bowls here, either. We're having to use coffee cups :) We found out that Daylight Savings time ended over here this weekend...and I was a little scared for a while because we didn't know what time it was!! Good thing we have internet!

Both Valerie's and Lauren's converters have started smoking & melted a little. I think we are going to order some online from Amazon.

Today we took a trip downtown, which is where most of those pictures are from...the shopping center was fun! That was pretty much all of downtown. All the stores were outside like Easton, except for a small mall with maybe 10 stores inside.
