At the airport on Friday before leaving :) We were all excited & yet nervous!

At the airport in Stockholm after a veeerrrryyy long flight. We're waiting on Valerie -- she's trying to find out what happened to her suitcase...they lost it!!! :(

Not a very pretty airport!!!! There were no shops like in the states!!

At least there was English on the signs as well, too bad it's not like that at the market!

The outside of the biblioteca (library) in Vasteras

A street near downtown Vasteras...all of the cars here are the luxary cars in the states, they all drive either a Volvo, a SAAB, a BMW, or a Mercedes. I've seen a few Lexus.

This is what a typical building looks like. A lot of people live in flats! There are more apartment buildings than houses!

A Swedish landmark: The Cathedral District

The Cathedral door. We wanted to go inside, but there were a bunch of people coming out of it. I think we might just go in the next time because we read somewhere that only 10% of swedes go to church. So maybe those people were just going inside to look??

There was a huge chandelier in the top window! It was gorgeous!

This looked like a graveyard of some sort, but it didn't look like anyone was buried there!

Look at all the bikes! They all either walk or ride bikes everywhere!

A McDonalds! There were 2 about a block away from each other...the same as subway. But we heard that it's expensive here.
